Crafted by Hand in Manchester

At Flourish by Elizabeth, we specialise in the art of refined wedding stationery and calligraphy — crafted entirely by hand and tailored to reflect the character and elegance of your event.

With a background in education and a lifelong love of artistic detail, I bring both creativity and precision to the design process. Every couple receives a considered, personal experience from our first consultation through to the final delivery of their stationery.

This is not a volume-based business. I work with a limited number of clients each year to ensure every suite is designed, written, and produced with the highest level of care. Each piece is created in my South Manchester studio, using time-honoured calligraphy techniques, carefully chosen papers, and a focus on timeless, understated design.

Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale celebration, your stationery should feel like a natural extension of your wedding design — elevated, cohesive, and entirely personal.

Favourite first dance song?

My first dance was to ‘Just the way you are’ by Bruno Mars so that will always be my favourite, however I love the song ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran and this one always makes me cry! Always a romantic at heart!

Dream wedding destination?

A tiny remote chapel over-looking the sea in the Spring sunshine. Maybe a little Greek island with beautiful bright florals and the backdrop of the shimmering blue ocean!

Best thing about Manchester weddings?

The mix of heritage venues and modern, industrial spaces- perfect backdrops for stationery with character. We had our own wedding reception at Manchester Town Hall in 2012.

Ideal Sunday morning?

A long walk around Lyme Park near Manchester with my family (my husband and I have 2 children!), followed by lots of mugs of tea and fresh pastries!

Best holiday so far?

France will forever be our favourite holiday destination. It was the place I spent summers as a child and my husband and I love exploring quaint villages and seaside towns with our children. The best trip has to be our honeymoon. We stayed at a tiny B&B in a village called Blauzac, just outside of Uzes- Provence. Happy memories to last a lifetime!
